Old Dogs Review

I had wanted to see this movie in theaters, but never got around to going. I FINALLY got it from netflix and I got to watch it tonight. I have to say it is so much better than I expected it to be.

This movie is HILARIOUS. I can't say that enough. So many parts I've laughed so hard I'm crying. Out and out crying! Not just a few tears. I had what I like to refer to, as a laughing attack, and could not STOP laughing. Robin Williams and John Travolta are a terrific pair.

First the terrible tan and indian and hispanic people thinking he is their race! There was a part where one of Travolta's friends had a machine to control Williams movements, and he was hitting himself and dancing ballet and so many funny things! They were at camp in one part and the camp leader thought they were a gay couple, and they destroyed an important statue to the camp. Seth Green screaming like a girl in the gorilla pin at the zoo. The gorilla MAKING him sing to him! John Travolta getting attacked by penguins. The funny parts just never end.

The funniest part of the WHOLE movie in my opinion, is when the two guys pills get switched and Travolta is hungry and shoving his head in a pie, and has a permanent smile. Then Williams has problems with depth perception and is trying to play golf and it's just the most HILARIOUS part of the movie. If you don't laugh, then you don't have a sense of humor.

It's also a sentimental movie. Williams is trying to form a relationship with his 7 year old twins. After having NO parenting experience. He is also still in love with the mother of his children. His job becomes an issue in making a relationship work with his children and their mother. There's also at least one sad part, but I don't want to give anything away for those of you who haven't seen it. Luckily the movie ends good.

I recommend this movie to EVERYONE! Maybe not for like toddlers of course who aren't interested in anything but cartoons, but I recommend to anyone who love comedies. And a big plus, is that it's a Disney! Go watch it everyone!

**Side Note** I just have to say, I am now, and have always been a huge Robin Williams fan. And I have enjoyed most movies with John Travolta, and Seth Green. A suprise actress in the movie that I did not realize was in here, is from one of my favorite shows of all time. Lori Laughlin from Full House!
